SNL hit the mark on this one...how ridiculously corny are all of these shows' openings? And don't get me started on that FOX robot. But really this skit made me so happy, way to go Lorne Michaels.
Alright. More importantly, it's starting to get chilly here. And so begins a number of blog posts about how cold Boston is. I mean DC has a high of 88 today. What's Boston's? 66. Oh well, I can't say I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
My football teams had ANOTHER 2-0 weekend. I think this is the first time that's happened in back to back weekends in maybe years. Skins and Irish beat two mediocre teams, which makes us slightly better than mediocre! I'll take what I can get. A win is a win, right?
P.S. I broke 3 glasses out Saturday night, but I want to point out that when I left McGreevy's still hadn't cleaned up the one I broke there. Yeah, I spent most of my time at that bar standing next to a pile of glass shards saying, "Hey watch out, some moron broke a glass there." Later in the night...I did not feel the same responsibilities. I don't always control my limbs well, you enter the bar with me at your own risk.
