...it's a joke I've been making for days. Thought of it myself, as did probably 3,000 other people.
I am trying to come to terms with this, but it is so bizarre. I found myself in shock for a solid 3 hours, but after hearing all sorts of debates and opinions I actually feel good about this trade. I've heard a few people groan that this is the same old Skins tactics, but it's really not. Philly got the short end of this deal, we didn't give up anything too substantial for a proven QB. They traded him within their own division, which is a bad move for them in my opinion. He's 33, but that's really not THAT old. Now the Skins can go after Russell Okung, and fill the elusive left tackle position. Plus I like how Okung and Orakpo look as jerseys hanging next to each other.
In other news, the Red Sox opened their season Sunday night in what looked like one of the greatest nights ever at Fenway. It was the first ever night game to open the season, beautiful weather, and they came back from being down 5-1 to the Yankees and beat them 9-7. Besides that, Neil Diamond came out of nowhere and performed "Sweet Caroline" during the 7th Inning Stretch, and Steven Tyler stumbled onto the field at one point and sounded like awounded animal. It was awful. At first I wondered, who let that sad old biker chick on the field? Then I realized that it was the Aerosmith singer, sounding like he needed an exorcism.

Seriously though, doesn't he sort of look like a Real Housewife?
