I'm currently in Maryland for winter break, and let me start off by saying that BU's winter break is entirely too long (until Jan. 18th). It may seem like a weird complaint, but really, how much West Wing can I watch in my parents' house while all my friends at home and from GW go to their real jobs during the day? I myself am headed back to Boston January 10th to start my internship.

For the first time in years I'm sort of proud of my Skins today. Their back-ups and young guys pulled out a win for us, and even though we're at the part of the year when we're supposed to be excited about playing "spoiler" and are actually depressed that it's been another bad year, this win felt good. It felt earned.
In other news I've started snowboarding again for the first time in 4 years! It feels good, except that I can tell I'm older in two ways - my knees after a day on the slopes, and how I feel more of a pull towards the crappy ski taverns than the terrain park. All in all I'm just happy to be riding again, and looking forward to hitting some New England resorts. If I'm going to freeze my ass off in the Northeast I might as well be on the mountains, right?
