Boston and the Snookie Shuffle

Last night I returned from a 24-hour trip to Boston. While it rained most of the time, the stint reminded me how much I have always loved the city. So, I'm 99.9% sure that I'm going to BU. In even better news, one of my old BMW's (Bomo Master Wingmen) and summer roommate, Alaska, is moving to Boston as well! I now believe that God has a plan, and that plan is for me to cover the Red Sox and bomo New Englanders in Irish pubs.

I wanted to briefly describe something about my one random roommate, whom I have named "Snookie" for her resemblance to the Jersey Shore character. Snooks typically moves from her bedroom to the kitchen about twice an hour, wearing short shorts and a spaghetti strap shirt or sometimes just a robe. The image is disturbing. However, she wears slippers and somehow does not manage to pick up her feet at all, resulting in something I've donned the Snookie Shuffle.

The Home Stretch

This week begins essentially my last quarter of college. It's a very strange time, 50% of me is really sad that the whole shibang is almost over, 40% of me is really excited to move to a new city and study journalism, and 10% of me is thinking about cheetos.

Coming back to school after a spring break that I spent playing lacrosse is a mixed blessing. I didn't really get a break and that sucked, but everyone else has been walking around in this still-slightly-burnt-and-hungover state, and have seemed to forget how rainy and grey D.C. is for half of March. Welcome home! At least we have March Madness...yes ND got kicked out in the first round but MSU is still kickin and Georgetown got knocked out by Ohio which already makes this a great tournament in my opinion.

In other news, I have rediscovered this song and wow...Bone Thugs were really good, and Phil Collins got really weird looking. Seriously, in this video he looks like a villianous priest. Whose idea was it to have him just creepily stand around in random shots?

Catching Up

So I have decided that it's getting semi-warm outside again, and it may be time for me to start up the old blog again. It's been months since my last post, and many wonderful and scary things have happened since then:

-God vommed snow all over Washington D.C. and we got a solid week off school
-Lacrosse season started, and now my social life is on life support
-Gilbert Arenas totally ruined his reputation and the Wizards imploded
-I got into Grad School at Boston University AND Colorado!
So now I have a big decision to make, and only 3 weeks to make it in. Do I want to live in a cold city where people smoke too much weed and play acoustic guitar too much, or a cold city where people drink too much beer and fight too much? Do I want to spend all my spare time and money on snowboarding or the Red Sox? These are important considerations which I will be contemplating at a local bar near you...
